Well, it seems like something interesting has happened to the ground near Stark's forge. Does anybody have any ideas on that? But that's not what this message is meant to be about. It's meant to be asking for anyone else with the Engineer Datapoint, or better yet someone that could fix whatever has gone wrong with trying to send or receive messages in the new city, to come to the new city's Power Station. While Cal has already set up a camp there, there is still a great deal of work that needs to be finished before it is operational.

Moonshade, I need to see what it is you wanted from the greenhouse, and I've used up all the leather I had for making drawstring bags. Where would you want me to go to give them to you?

There is a water treatment facility in the Power Station but it is not operational yet. Lauri-Ell, would you be good enough to carry freshwater there for me? I'm just a poor cripple that can't manage it, myself.

[ Yes he is hamming it up for that bit. ]

You've got a fair point, but I've got a feeling some more puzzle pieces about Temba will be found here, rather than Temba itself.

Don't rightly agree with that.

[ But he doesn't sound angry about it. More like he's resigned that people are going to run off for awhile and Temba will need more looking after while those folks are gone. ]

Look, I'm busy right now with the mines so I can't lend my engineering for awhile. If you all don't have the other city up and runnin' by the time I finish my business here I'll come lend a hand for a bit. Not long though. This place still needs people to work on it.

I didn't expect you personally to come since you're the only one among us captives to know very much about mining.

[ Kaz's tone was as dry as dust for that. ]

Both Temba and the new city have been connected to each other since long before we were here. That connection alone makes me think there is more to find from exploring more of this city. It will be found faster if there's water, at least. And having drinking water first depends on having electricity.

[ Cobb just can't help himself. The sarcasm slips out because his town back home doesn't have water naturally. He waves a hand to clear away the words like they were actually floating there. ]

I can give you a few tips on transporting water and how to make it last if you'd like. Hell, give me some time and maybe I can figure out how to make a vaporator from the scrap around here. Then you won't have to worry as much.

[ Ha ha, Cobb. Kaz bypasses the sarcasm and frowns in confusion. ]

It might help if I knew what a vaporator was.

Pulls moisture out of the air and condenses it into drinkin' water. Around here with how damp it is you'd probably only need one to sustain a few people.

[ Building one might be faster than trying to get a whole system up and running. Cobb scratches at his beard as he thinks about it for a moment. ]

That or just a real good filter system and you'd be set.

Are you actually able to build one with materials that are already available in Temba?

[ If so, Kaz would be watching like a hawk to memorize how to build one. You may have just given the camp in Sh'Ka drinking water singlehandedly, Cobb.
