You know, when I said I wanted something to happen, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind.
[ Clint appears on the screen, not looking annoyed, exactly, but he's not overly thrilled either. ]
I can't say I'm a big fan of being in one place and finding myself somehow magically transported to another. Sure, it's one thing if I know that's going to happen, but it's really sounding like none of us were expecting it. So, not cool, whoever's behind this.
[ And now he's glowering, because hey, that was really annoying. ]
But whatever, we're stuck on these ships and there's no way to get off that I've seen, so that's fun.
[ Cue the biggest eyeroll in existence, or close to it. ]
How's everyone doing otherwise? Hope the living situation on your ship is comfortable, because who knows how long we're gonna be stuck on these things?
[ There's a pause, and then he asks: ]
I don't suppose anyone got a brainwave about that, did they?
[ It's a long shot, and a highly unlikely one, but he's going to ask the question anyway. ]

[One more person she can't see in person. It's good to see him, though. Reassuring.
Seems like everyone she's close to is locked on another ship.]
How are you handling it over there?
no subject
[ He really doesn't like not being able to look her up for a talk or just to see how she is whenever he feels like it, but at least there's this network. ]
As well as can be expected. I thought about knocking a hole in one of the walls, but if we're actually supposed to fly these things, that might not be the best idea.
no subject
[Honestly, she probably wouldn't be especially happy herself if someone started disassembling the Vanquish.]
no subject
[ He rolls his eyes again, because yes, he's a little annoyed about the present circumstances. ]
So, who's with you over there?
no subject
[Not unless he's found a sudden motivation to put on an act with her at least. Still strange being stuck in a small space with Loki.]
How about with you?
no subject
[ He can't help the frown that comes on. He still doesn't trust him, and it doesn't sit well with him, knowing that Loki and Natasha are on the same ship. ]
Let's see, there's Katara and Carol and a couple of guys I don't really know that well.
no subject
[And Carol is Carol.]
You could do a lot worse than that.
no subject
[ "Carol is Carol" is a good way of putting it. He likes having her around, so that's a plus. ]
I know.
[ A pause. ]
Still, having you around would be good too.

video;
It would have been far more comfortable if they had kept the upgrades we added on to these ships, so I am tempted to believe they are copies rather than originals.
As far as how long we will be here, there is a countdown clock over the cargo bay doors in my ship. Do you have one as well?
no subject
Oh, that? Yeah, there's one on here too. It's just not counting down fast enough, you know what I mean?
no subject
That, I can fully agree with. I'd prefer minutes to hours on that clock.
no subject
[ He shakes his head. And yes, he agrees with Vision about individual bedrooms. ]
So, what have you been doing to pass the time?
no subject
[He makes a face.]
Writing simple applications for the communicator to test its capabilities, primarily. I have "Tetris" working reliably, and "Centipede" only crashes once you exceed a length of seventy units. [Who the heck builds their centipede that long? This guy, apparently.]
Action
Hey.
[ Being trapped in a ship like this is honestly torture for someone used to the windy sky and running water and trees and beaches and mountains. She misses home more than ever now, because all that there is for her to do is run circles around the ship; she's full of nervous energy and needs an outlet. ]
Are you busy?
no subject
Hey yourself.
[ He chuckles and just shrugs. ]
Nah, there's nothing really to do here except walk around, so- Nope, not busy at all. How's it going?
no subject
[ She looks up at him sheepishly. ]
Do you think, maybe, that we could spar together?
no subject
[ He wasn't expecting that. But then he just smiles. ]
Sure, I'm game. Gives us something to do, anyway.
no subject
How's your ship?
no subject
Can't even fly it.
[ Yes, that's what's bothering him about the whole thing. Well, one thing, anyway. ]
no subject
I mean, same.
It seems like it kinda wants to fly itself. Which I'm not really a fan of.
And there's no coffee in the mess.
no subject
And that is also wrong on so many levels. They could have at least given us coffee.
no subject
Then again, it's really freaking weird to know I used to know how to pilot the thing... and now I don't.
Right? Tea is not the same.
no subject
At the very least, they could've given us instant coffee. It sucks, but at least it's something.
no subject
It would definitely be better than nothing. I mean, the protein gel's.... the protein gel, and no one's gonna starve, but we could still do to live a little, if we're gonna be stuck.
