I spy a spy
WHO: Natasha and YOU
WHERE: Not-Temba
WHAT: Exploring!
WHEN: Late July
WARNINGS: None, yet.
Civics Center
Impressive buildings are just asking to be explored. Aside from that, it's a tall structure that would allow Nat to see more of the city. She spends some time looking around the lower floors before scaling one of the pillars to get to the higher levels. Eventually, she makes it to the roof garden. If anyone looks up, they might notice a figure perched on the edge of the roof. She idly swings one foot over the edge as she writes some notes in a notebook with one hand. The other holds a piece of fruit she'd been munching on.
Palace & Estate
What? They're big and important-looking. Big enough that she'll likely spend several days exploring here. She might actually spend a nights there, too. Important people tended to keep important things around, after all. And since the laboratory is inaccessible, maybe she can find something useful in one of these buildings... maybe even a way into the laboratory.
Wildcard
Who are we kidding, Nat is going to be looking all over the place and try to get into all sorts of places she's not supposed to. Want to do something specific? Let me know!

So rather than run the risk of startling her up close and personal he stands below her and calls out, "Coming up!"
He makes his way to the roof pretty quickly, making use of the Force to make jumps and fling himself to hand holds along on the way. "Find anything interesting?" he greets, once he's close enough to easily hold a conversation.
Re: Civic Center
She leans over, looking down towards the voice. Her eyebrows raise as she watches the impressive display. Smiling slightly, she tilts her head at him. "Other than you? Yeah, a few things."
no subject
"Oh! Well, I'm definitely not the only one around who can do that sort of thing. I dunno if that makes it more or less interesting?" he offers, with a slightly sheepish smile.
"I'm Ezra. I know the name that goes with the profile the Agrii comes up with, but as far as I can tell those don't have much to do with what people actually want to be called. So what do you go by?"
no subject
Ah, yes, the Agrii profiles. She'd read through them... She wasn't impressed. She nods."Natasha. Nice to meet you."
no subject
"And there's a few of us. I mean - there's a bunch of people here with different sets of abilities that vary widely, but there's a small handful of us specifically from sort around the same time and region of space with the same sort of training. If you caught Master Kenobi's story about the Jedi and Sith, at Moonshade's Howl, then...it's something both Jedi and Sith can do. Or, untrained Force sensitives can too, actually. Channeling energy into jumps is one the things I did without realizing I was doing it, before I had any training at all."

no subject
"What kind of flashy?"
no subject
no subject
"I do have a bunch of made up memories of Earth - you're from Earth, right? So I kinda know what you mean," he admits reluctantly.
"Well, where I'm actually from, there are lots of different names for the Force, in lots of languages and cultures. But if you're Jedi trained and speaking Basic, then yes, we usually call it the Force. But the traditional weapon of a Jedi is a lightsaber, and-"
He figures that's warning enough, and flips his saber hilt into his hand and flicks it on.
The flashy also speaks for itself, right?
no subject
"The different languages and cultures thing I can understand. I was trained from a young age in many languages and how to blend into different cultures. Sometimes things don't translate very well." She shrugs, "Or have any translation at all."
Then the growing blade literally grows from the hilt. Her eyes widen and she doesn't even try to hide the shock on her face. It looks like something Tony would have had wet dreams over. "Ебена мать" She mutters. Chuckling, she shakes her head. "Alright, now you're just showing off."
no subject
"What language was that? It's funny what does and doesn't get translated, or...however it works. Because there's no way we all naturally speak a common language."
no subject

"So what's the other interesting stuff you've come across?"
Palace??
Tony wasn't given much room to decide to turn back, because he was upon the building he suspected would be here much faster than he anticipated, the roads shorter and architecture smaller in this city, clustering everything closer together. Effectively more curious than nervous, Tony peered up at the grand design with wide eyes over the fence, finding it much more familiar than he had even assumed that he would find, then took a running jump at the barrier to quickly clamber, then vault over it into the garden. Maybe this time, the door would just be open.

She moved so she'd be to the side of the door when it opened. Leaning casually against the wall, she waited until he stepped over the threshold to speak. "Didn't anyone ever tell you it's polite to knock first?"
no subject
"SHIT--god--christ!" Tony spooked, jumping away from the unexpected voice and the figure that was way too close for comfort. Both of his hands came up, one in a familiar reflex with his palm toward his attacker and gloved fingers clawed around it, the other tucking tight against his chest to clutch at his heart that felt like it was going to come straight through his ribs to expire in his awaiting fist. He had hardly recovered his balance before he was complaining, "I have a heart condition, you know, you can't just do that to a guy, are you trying to kill me?" Natasha. When had she caught the train?
no subject
Shaking her head, she pushed off the wall and walked over to him. She patted his shoulder. "Oh come on, you're fine." She paused for a moment before adding, "It's nice to see you, Tony." What? She might miss the Avengers. Maybe. Definitely.

"I went down in the mines first to make sure the intrepid adventurers didn't get ambushed. Then I hopped the train over here. Pretty nice place, huh? Figured if I'm going to be squatting I might as well do it in style."
no subject
This place was the kind of luxury that Tony was surprised no one else had laid claim to, either here or back in Temba. Cobb was breaking his back cobbling together some run down bungalows when a perfectly good estate was sitting there, largely untouched. Tony had to acknowledge with a thumb over his shoulder back the way he had come, "I've set up in a classroom back there near the fountain. A classroom, that's got to say something psychologically damning about it, doesn't it? And here you are."
