[Keith was really getting tired of being dumped in places he had no idea where he was. He knew he was on one of the DF ships that had shown up in the hangar. After they'd started losing a lot of their crew, Keith had started seeing what a basic Atroma ship looked like without upgrades as they'd lost the upgrades on the Huntress as the people who had the augments for them disappeared.
Though, he knew this wasn't the Huntress. It hadn't been in the hangar. It had to have been one of the ones that was in there.
First things first, though... He grabbed the communicator.]

Lance? You still here? It seems I'm on one of the ships in the hangar... but I can't get out.
[The feed would show Keith attempting the various doors and hatches that might lead out of the ship to see if he could escape... but nothing.]

Hi, uh... If we haven't met, I'm Keith, Paladin of Voltron.
I was the last captain of the Huntress in Drift Fleet before coming here. And it looks like we've been put inside those ships that were in the hangar. They're basic. Some of these ships had been upgraded and changed before we came here, so I'm not even sure if they're the real ones or something constructed from old blueprints.
Either way, it looks like we're stuck inside for a while. And they still aren't running, even with a pilot augment.
[Keith had noticed his pilot augment from DF wasn't working anymore, and had tried the data point near the ships to see what he got when the hangar first opened up. Granted, it meant he didn't have the medical knowledge anymore, or the farming knowledge he'd gotten first, but this was fine. It was familiar. Though, he was reluctant to try another data point any time soon.]
Are any of the other ships working? Are all of us stuck inside?
=====
[Action - open to all - throughout the event]
[Keith would be doing his best not to freak out at being stuck. Being inside a small ship wasn't bad if the ship could move, but these couldn't, and that was not a good thing. He was restless and frustrated, concerned about his boyfriend being on a different ship, and really worried about them being trapped inside the ships without being able to move them.
He would attempt to do his best to work with anyone who tried to get the ship running or the doors to open. He wasn't the engineering type, but he knew basics from having to repair his own hoverbike back home sometimes, and he didn't have the engineering augment, so he probably wouldn't be a ton of help, but he'd work as much as he could. Keith had trouble being idle.]

[ Of course, the first thing Bones checked out was the medbay. He found it to be surprisingly well-stocked. The technology isn't quite at the level of what he's used to, but he can probably make this work if they have to take off. He's glad he's got his tricorder here too. ]
Yeah, I think we're all stuck in here for the unforeseeable future. I honestly can't decide if this is better or worse than being in the crappy run-down hotel.
Re: video;
Starship? Is that like a special class of ship?
[He'd heard a few terms for stuff, but not that one in particular.]
Well, at least here we have proper beds, running water, and climate control.
[Which was more than could be said for the hotel...]

Re: video;
[Keith nodded, though.]
I'm not a fan, either. At least, if they were working, we could move the ship around. It wouldn't be as terrible.
video;
Take off is the worst though.
Re: video;
But... it's big. Bigger than this.
[He then smirked.]
Nah. Take off is the best part.
[The biggest part of the rush was the acceleration.]
video;
[ Since the Enterprise tends to dock infrequently, it isn't something that he has to worry about often, but Bones has a procedure for it now so that he doesn't end up getting sick. ]
Re: video;
Don't worry. I'm used to working with someone who's got a weak stomach when it comes to flying and zero G.
[Yes... Keith was definitely going to find this entertaining.]
video;
You're a pilot, then?
[ He's asking genuinely, not sarcastically. The kid looks a bit young to be a pilot, but Chekhov was young to be their navigator and he did a damn good job. ]
Re: video;
You could say that. [He shrugged nonchalantly. He wasn't one to brag, so he'd never actually say it, but he'd been top of his class and had been on track to outshine his mentor, the best pilot in the Galaxy Garrison. If he hadn't gotten himself in trouble and kicked out, he would have been next in line.] I never actually officially graduated.
video;
[ Just the captain, no big deal. ]
Well, if we do have to take off, at least our ship's got a pilot and a doctor.
Re: video;
[He considered the other comment, though.]
What does your friend do?

Re: video;

[Lance looks nothing short of frazzled. His hands looked a little bruised, and even cut in some places--he's clearly been desperately trying to pry open doors and hatches as well to no avail.]
I'm stuck in here. I don't know how to get out.
Re: video
[Judging by the startled and upset sounding network chatter going on at the moment.]
Are you okay?
[He noticed those cuts and bruises with a frown, but left his question more open-ended for the time being. Honestly, he was just glad that Lance was still with him, even if they were separated for the moment.]
no subject
[Well, honestly, he doesn't have to say it, but.]
I need to get back to you. I don't like this.
no subject
It's okay. Neither one of us has left without the other, so this isn't too bad. We can do this. We'll just make sure to stay in contact. The network is working again. We can still talk, okay?
[Of course, everything Keith was saying was coming out in an attempt to comfort and calm himself down as it was for Lance. He just wasn't sure if it was working all that well.]
no subject
[He takes a deep breath. Lance has to focus and stay calm. Panicking will just make things worse. He's still afraid, though.]
no subject
[Keith repeated it, because it was an important thing to say and remind himself of.]
Just hang in there, okay? I'm just a call away. It'll be like us being on different missions or something.
no subject
[Except where the last time they were, they were back home, and very much not together in the way they are now. Here, on the fleet--and now this world--they haven't ever really left each other's side.]
We can talk on this a lot. Just...until we can get out.
no subject
Yeah. Until we get out.
[Because they would. He was sure of that. He had to be...]
Can you tell what ship you're on? One of the others here thinks we're on the Starduck because of the chicken statue in the kitchen.
no subject
[He frowns.]
It just feels...different, even so, I think? Like it's smaller, but it might just be my perception 'cause I'm stuck.
no subject
[Man... he wanted to reach out and touch Lance to reassure him.]
I'm sure it's fine. [Mostly.]
no subject
[And the same back. Lance has always been a tactile person, and he's always craved comfort in touch.]
Yeah. Don't think I'm gonna get claustrophobic or anything. Just...yeah.
no subject
[Because Keith wasn't exactly going to not call Lance during however long they were going to be like this. He was honestly glad the comms were working before this happened.]
