It wasn't a power he showed off often here, and within the confines of the hypothetical it might be one the Soldier was willing to suffer through in the time it took to knock him out.
"My spells don't tend to work if I can't hear them. Or speak them," he added, wanting to give him as much information to work with if things ever did go wrong again.
