It's not a thought Cal wants to entertain. He hadn't gone to Dathomir looking for a fight, and even after he'd rather avoid it. So he's not going to discount Merrin's words, even if she is a bit teasing in that he was lucky she'd decided to listen. He grants her that twitch of a smile at that. "Guess I am," he says.

"I've only got somewhat of an idea of how life is on Dathomir from what I've seen and what you've told me. Just surviving the world itself looks like a challenge."
