It was an old joke on Tatooine which amused him to use now but he realized might not make sense to someone who had never been to the planet before. It wasn't a planet for anyone who hated sand. He hadn't found sand in his hair for weeks since coming here. He almost missed it.

He grinned at her offer for help even though it was clearly a hesitating offer. Merrin really didn't know quite what she was doing which made the offer more endearing.

"I'll keep that in mind though I've seen shadows of what might be in that water and I do not want to go in it." The temptation was strong but Cobb's sense of self preservation was stronger. "Maybe one day we'll end up on a planet with safer waters for me to try swimming in."
