"Uh huh." Cobb wasn't exactly pleased with that response. It felt like an unnecessary risk to take. There was no reason to go in the water besides the fact that it was there.

"Well, when you're ready would you let someone know you're gonna do it? Just to be safe." He would feel a little bitter if she tried swimming with someone else there. It shouldn't be him because he couldn't do anything but watch from the shore. Someone who could swim, obviously, should help her out. "But if you're that confident about it I'm hoping you've got some experience with water."
