The radiation sensor that picks up the X-rays for chemical analysis can also pick up any other energy signatures down to the minutest trace radiation, don't worry, yes, I tested it, and I'm sure I can remove any of the instruments for lab use when not needed, so I don't think I'll need to look for more spectroscopic equipment.
