Well, the speaker definitely awakens Lauri-Ell. She frowns. This was not where she had slept. It takes some work to wiggle out of the too-small bunk and onto her feet. Her gaze shifts and she frowns before heading for the cockpit.

"I was informed," she says as she ducks through the opening into the cockpit, "that there was already a pilot for our vessel. Was this not accurate, friend Jon?"

If she had known, she would have taken up piloting, for this responded to no logical arrangement she had seen.
