[ The video opens with Loki sitting on the remains of what likely was once the wall of a building, golden, horned helmet in his laps and leaning over it with his hands clasped and his forearms resting on said helmet.

Loki blinks twice. ]

Greetings.

[ A pause, then a short, seemingly a little flustered chuckle and he leans back out of his position a little before going on. ]

I have only met a few of you so far and so I- I thought it to be about time to introduce myself at last.

[ He leans back enough to give the helmet in his lap a pat with one of his hands. ]

I am Loki. And if your home realm is one of those that is familiar to this name by virtue of certain mythologies: Not that one. Though I may have inspired those tales in the version of Midgard I have come to know. But let's not dwell on that.

[ Offering a wide, friendly smile to the camera, Loki leans back forward, arms resting on the helmet once more. ]

Actually, I have already been here for some time now and I have made myself familiar with our situation and what is expected of us. Being Asgardian and adept at sorcery, I believe I may be of good use regarding our endeavor to aid our hosts. Though I also believe our goal could be achieved more effectively if we had the means to quickly move to other planets and back.

Which is what I want to propose to all of you here and today. My people have been traveling the galaxy freely for millennia, moving from one planet to the other in mere moments. The technology and magic behind it is relatively simple by Asgardian standards and I am convinced we can recreate it here. For this cause I would be interested to meet those of you proficient in magic as well as all skilled engineers interesting in taking on this task.

[Loki, huh? Well, definitely a familiar face. Lance guesses it's not the same Loki as the one he knew back on the fleet (the one who nearly hit him with a thrown knife), so it's a good time to introduce himself in return.]

Hey Loki, nice to meet ya. The name's Lance. I'm guessing that you've already got the welcome wagon since you've been here a bit, but if there's any questions you have or help you need, you can give me a holler.

[He hums at that last bit, though.]

Wish there was something I could do to help with your Asgardian stuff, but unfortunately, I can't use magic and I'm not the best at engineering. Not sure of what other kinds of hands on deck you'd need for something like that, if any.

[ And he does, in fact, give a pleasant nod along with his words. ]

I believe at the moment I am well enough informed to not pose too much of a burden, and yet your offer is appreciated. Am I right to assume you were among those that went to rescue our hosts a while ago?

That's right! I've been here for a while doing stuff, honestly. ...A while while, if you add in the time before some of us got taken to this planet specifically.

[Several years, at this point, since this all started for him.]

[Billy's head turns, trying to suss out if this Loki is one of the versions of him he's come to know back home, recognition in that gaze, but finishing with an uncertain frown.]

...Are you suggesting we make a Bifrost??

Well, it's certainly helpful that some of those here already have experience to share. I may have seen plenty different planets myself, but this one is unfamiliar. And as I said, previous interplanetary trips for me always came with the option of returning to Asgard whenever I chose to do so.

Being trapped like this? Is new.

[ And something he plans to change. ]

[ Why, hello there, unfamiliar young man. Loki actually has no idea who you are, but he smiles regardless. Especially at the mention of the rainbow bridge. ]

Actually, yes. It's not impossible if we work together. You have heard of it, then?

You over compensating for something there?

[She nods towards the helmet with a smirk.]

[Has the fanboy who first named himself 'Asgardian' heard of the Bifrost??? Billy flushes a bit, and nods.]

Uh...yeah. Definitely heard of it. Never magicked up something quite like that, but uh- I was trained by a Loki for a while, so...I know a bit of Asgardian magic.

[ And Loki raises a brow in return, appearing confused. ]

What do you mean?

[ And Loki notices the reaction, but doesn't comment. ]

Really? But you aren't Asgardian yourself, which means you must be a very talented young man.

[Billy briefly gives a look that seems to say 'well, neither are you', but he doesn't know for sure if that's the case for this Loki, and either way it doesn't seem exactly fair.]

I'm all right. You really think we can build one?

[Maybe best to keep the whole Demiurge thing underwraps for now. This still a Loki.]

Even before this place, when I was back home, I was going from planet to planet. Though I guess there, I wasn't actually able to back to my own planet for a really long time, so going home properly was out of my reach for ages. I was kinda stuck, but in a different way. Still, at least there was a route back. Here? It's a whole different dimension that we can't escape from, or enter for that matter, unless by the whim of whoever.

[He rubs the back of his head.]

For now, I've grown used to it. It's been a few years for me. I do want to go back home eventually, but not until I find a way to bring my memories with me.

I mean, I appreciate good headgear, but those horns are a lot.

You've been here a while, huh? Has anyone said that they've met a version of you before, yet?

Does that thing get caught in doors?

[Because with a super shiny curly-horned helmet there it is impossible to not get distracted from...whatever it was that Loki was saying- wait was he talking?]

[ Loki considers those words, then leans backwards a little, gesturing with one of his hands to summon up the illusion of another helmet to hover above his palm. His tone remains level. ]

This is the helmet of my father, Odin, ruler and guardian of the nine realms of Yggdrasil. My brother, Thor, received his wings. I received his horns. If you deem them intimidating, then I apologize.

[ Look, he has been raised as an Asgardian prince. He has done politics. Loki knows how to remain polite and when not to rise to obvious bait. ]

Actually, yes. And I can't say I'm particularly surprised but rather intrigued. One even mentioned having met my brother in yet a different realm.

Have you met a version of me before as well?

Oh, Cayde, my friend. I wouldn't worry about that.

[ The helmet receives a pat. ]

Normally I don't carry it around like this. And it is rather worn for specific events rather than being worn as part of a common attire. Yet, I have still find a place to actually stay myself and therefore am carrying what little I possess here with me.

My apologies if it unsettles you.

[ Don't worry, he catches that look as well. ]

I do. It will require some great magic, but if what I am told is correct, we should be able to achieve this.

[ Loki listens to this young man's words, nodding slowly when appropriate and more obvious and understanding towards the end. ]

Yes, I can see that. I am sorry to hear you were kept away from your home this long.

[ He pauses with a calculated exhale. ]

Once the Bifrost is set up and working, we will find out just how detached this galaxy is from those we are familiar with. Building those connections can only work in our favor. And that of the Agrii, I'm sure.

It's alright. Some really good things happened here, so it's not all bad.

[Even if he has faith that he and Keith would have gotten together one day back home, it would have likely taken a hell of a lot longer.]

Bifrost? What's that exactly? A way to travel, I'm guessing?

[Catra gives a squeaky laugh.]

Ohh, I'm real scared, goat man.

[The magic though, that...has her tail giving a slow wag behind her despite her laughter.]

[Billy's head turns, trying to suss out what the trap might be in agreeing, before giving a tentative nod of his head.]

Basically. It transports you from one place in the galaxy to another in mere moments. Those of Asgard haven't bothered with space ships for millennia.

Having that ability here clearly would be very helpful for us.

Well, I certainly will owe yo a favor if you decide to help out. Even though in the end it would benefit us all.

[ Maybe more so even if it means Loki can leave. ]
