Entering through a window isn't exciting, it's practical! Especially when most of the lower levels are water-damaged. Cayde heads around one side of the high walled structure to a doorway that must have been forced in for the way the door more or less leaned against the wall than actually connected with the doorway anymore.
"I think you and me have very different definitions of going wild, Jon," he says, turning the earlier exchange back on the Archivist, the glow of his optics only suggesting a more mischievous tinge to the smile he casts over his shoulder. He leads the way inside what appears to be a stairwell that had definitely seen better days, moss coating the edges and along the walls, a path through them worn faintly where Cayde mounts the steps on his way up. Thankfully it's not too many flights.
The floor is a mid-level one, the space free of the moisture that overtook most of the level below. Cayde ducks into the doorway and steps aside for Jon, beaming with pride at his find and his accomplishments so far. The place has been cleared out, a few scavenged pieces of furniture sitting off to the side, not yet decided for placement. It's a bit dark, save for a few sconces that glow along the wall. The majority of the light comes from the large windows facing what would have been a sort of inner courtyard so far as the Exo was able to tell, except the light filtered in a blue-green tinge, wavering and alive for the fact that what sat outside was a lake.
