Back on the Ship | Sephiroth, OTA
WHO: Sephiroth and anyone who'll talk to him
WHERE: The ship
WHAT: Returning from mysterious unremembered Agrii mission (i.e., hiatus)
WHEN: October 5th
WARNINGS: None, probably
He woke up slowly, wings twitching as he stirred. He was laying on his bed on the ship, wrapped in his wings the way he often slept. Bird-like, Cloud had called it.
He sat up. Really, he didn’t remember much of what had happened. He hadn’t agreed to the sea witch’s deal. He had tried to warn the others to think about it rather than just agreeing. Only Radley had listened, concerned enough to at least hold off on agreeing to think about it and if there might be another way. But then ...
What had happened?
He held a hand to his forehead as he got off the bed. The only things he was sure of was that he and Radley had been together and that their forms hadn’t changed. Everything was a complete blank otherwise.
He took out the communicator. “...” Multiple weeks had passed.
Should he post to the network? Would anyone even want to hear from him? He had always mostly felt like an outsider there. He still did. Perhaps the others thought he had abandoned them because he hadn't trusted the sea witch. (Why would he, knowing of Ursula? Still, he had never intended to abandon them to her. That wasn't his nature. He didn't understand what had happened.)
He sighed, tiredly. He would probably learn more if he just wandered around the ship for a while.
He checked on Radley, who was awake and disturbed. He didn’t remember any more than Sephiroth did.
They would split up and search different areas of the ship. There was another, more pressing reason not to post to the network right now. Maybe no one had returned. Maybe they were all still captive. The sea witch could have all their communicators and be monitoring them for activity from the ones who had apparently got away. So he would wait and see if he found anyone else onboard the ship before contacting the network. He didn’t want to bring danger down on the others, nor to call it on himself and Radley before he had properly assessed the situation.
