The state of Donnie's clothes (and the very obvious red stains) are not putting Leo at ease, nor is his cough. And he wants to just grab him and go, but... Keith is still in there.

And Donnie was able to lift his head and smile, so...

"Okay," says Leo to Radley, and then doesn't wait for anything else. He jams one of his swords into the dirt outside the building, then grips the other one in his hand and jumps through the hole Radley and Donnie came out of.

Immediately, the heat and smoke threaten to overwhelm him, setting his eyes watering and his lungs burning. He covers his mouth with his free arm, for all the good it does, and squints through the smoke, fighting coughs and dodging debris.
