"I think I'm good, save for the lack of coffee," Donnie says. "I tried not to overdo it, anyway..." He looks a little uncertain of that as he pats at the slightly overstuffed bag. "Didn't want to have to make repeat trips, you know?"

Once they get to the door, he steps over to open it a crack, hesitating before he opens it the rest of the way, but he hadn't heard anything, and thankfully it seems clear out in the road so far.
