[Poe appears to be in one of the ships, trusting the locks to keep Kylo Ren out. He's sitting cross legged, quickly turning the camera to face his newest acquisitions, a cobbled together droid, similar to the boxy simple design of a MSE-droid, and painted to match BB-8's colours. BB-8 seems very curious about his new companion, nudging it and giving a series of cheerful beeps.]

We've got a new friend here who needs a name. Anyone have any ideas?

Is it going to help protect you from that man in black? The “Supreme Leader” or whatever it is he calls himself.

[ She hasn’t met Kylo Ren yet and she seems pretty unimpressed, but there’s concern in the slight crease of her brow. ]

I'm not sure they're really battle ready. Not enough to take on Ren.

[He smiles though, trying to be reassuring.]

I can look after myself. But you be careful. I don't want any of you getting dragged into this.

I know you can, but you shouldn’t have to do it alone. In the Southern Water Tribe, a threat against one of us is a threat against all of us.

I appreciate the sentiment.
But Ren will cut down anyone who stands between him and what he wants. You need to understand what you're risking if you decide to put yourself in that position.

I don't doubt your ability, I just want you to go in with all the information. The First Order has wiped out entire systems. Billions of people gone in an instant.

You're probably better prepared to face off against his powers than I am. But you need to understand what he's capable of.

Yes, the Force. The dark side of it. He can move things with his mind, freeze blaster bolts in mid air, inflict pain without laying a hand on you. He can reach inside your head and take things, change your thoughts. Break you apart from the inside.

[He sounds as though he's speaking from experience.]

And that's not even touching on his combat skill. With and without a lightsaber he's lethal.

Okay, then how about this. Come up with a list of a few good ones, ask them if any sound good. If not, then pick one you like but remind them as they ask to change it after?

Which, frankly, I feel like everyone should get one free go of as they grow up. Sometimes parents give you shitty names.

And go with something that isn't a massive mouthful. Two syllables at most. Maybe... Happy? Spark? Quibble?

[ Katara grits her teeth, fists clenching. She thinks of Ozai, and of Azula, and of the type of world that would exist if people like them were left unchecked to lay waste to everyone who opposed them. ]

So, what? We just let him do whatever he wants because he’s strong and has scary powers? We let him threaten and terrorize us? How is that the answer? Someone has to stand against him!

Where I come from, the Fire Nation has been waging war against the rest of the world for a hundred years. They wiped out an entire nation of people. They captured every waterbender from my tribe, and most of them probably died in prison. They killed my mother when she tried to protect me! I learned that you have to fight back, and I learned how to fight back.

Is there a plan, then? There are more of us than there are of him, and we have powers too.

We will stand against him. But we'll be smart about it.

We have numbers, but we have no weapons. Some of us have powers, but we don't know how you'll fair against him. We can't just go rushing in.

Yes. In another day or so that droid will start to show it's personality.

I may have politely told Kylo Ren to fuck off. He's not my Emperor and nor is it my Empire I had been working for. And if he's the Supreme Leader in your world? It only shows how bad my Empire went down. That saddens me in a way.

[Eli couldn't help but puff out his chest slightly. It wasn't often he did stand up fo himself, but that was one of the rare occasions. Usually if he stood up for anyone it was for other people.]

Never underestimate someone from Wild Space.

I certainly hope you do. If he gives you trouble I won't hesitate to step in. We deal with Lord Vader back at home. Or at least my Grand Admiral has to. I've only seen him from a distance.
