Keeping it swimming in circles seemed like a rational enough approach until they could figure out something more permanent, which Tony expressed with a twirling finger as he darted back out into the open water, and the dragging wake of the beast. Underneath it now, the depths seemed even darker as its mass blocked the little light that did manage to filter down through the water, and the clumps of earth and foliage that it had accrued in its long hibernation cascaded away in swirls.
