That was bound to hurt Tony more than Cayde, and completely unsuspecting as he was of this maneuver, the Exo only barely managed to twist so he ended up catching the eel rather than have Tony ramming right into his arm. It was still hard enough a momentum to knock them both off course, but at least when you were swimming, actually 'falling' took a lot more effort.
