Jan's reaction to a disaster could have been downright sociopathic, and Tony probably still would have lit up at the petname, casting her a smile with his head tipping with an invitation. He couldn't say no to that. The only problem was, he didn't exactly know how to be a steady light. He could at least lead, once he found the nerve, which wasn't as hard with a pretty gal encouraging him, but still came with a hitch of hesitation before he was swimming out over the open water and twisting around to try to remember the path he had taken down with Cayde. "I think they were over here," he muttered, sticking close to the wall where he could touch it if he wanted to, and claw his way back up if something suddenly grabbed him to yank him down. That anxiety did solve the light problem, somewhat, making his tail spark strongly enough to make arcs jump to the stone as the water quickly grew cold around him.
