[By the looks of it, Cal's in his workshop, stooped beside one of the snow-blowing robots. Its main panel is open, the cover set aside as the Jedi works on soldering a few things into place with his arc-welder.]

Found at least one of these guys and figured it could use an overhaul. Of course, it might be better to repurpose it given its original directive doesn't quite seem applicable given the seasonal shift.

Any suggestions? Or does anyone need some robotic assistance? Probably nothing too complicated, but otherwise some reprogramming shouldn't be too difficult, although that might take someone with the Comms point.

How about teaching it just to sweep for starters? ... As long as it doesn't try to sweep up people, of course.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. It's going to need some new installations though since it didn't come with any broom attachments.

Technically the current setup could work, but it'd just end up spewing everything it sucked up back out again unless we converted it into a vacuum.

Awww, little guy's getting a tune-up? How cute. I guess my ideas partially depend on what the thing can handle. Like, could it go all the way to the beach and back to check lobster traps? Or is sand really bad for it's little little-ness?

Can it be adjusted to clean? The hospital could use that more regularly than we're getting it.

Canister. Although we might need to put a filter on the vacuum so it won't suck up anything too large.

They were running pretty well on their own during the winter so I think it could handle the distance. But the sand would definitely be an issue.

Wouldn't be a major adjustment since it already has suction capabilities. Was already talking with someone about converting it into a vacuum, unless you needed something more specific than that?

Filtration will probably be easier than the containment. If not internal then maybe we can fit something on top of it where the other hose would otherwise be. I'll send the schematics BeeDee scanned, if that'll help, and I've got a lot of parts here I've scavenged over the years.

[There's a beeping from off-screen in confirmation, and after a moment of Cal tapping at things on the screen, he sends those schematics over.]

My workshop is up in the Northwest quadrant. I'll ping the coordinates but it's not hard to find, especially if you're heading up from the town square.

[Fang looks over the coordinates when they arrive and then starts putting together some things he thinks might work. Soon he's heading out to visit Cal's workshop.]

[The little box-headed droid glances over as soon as he picks up the approaching footsteps. He hoots a greeting even as Cal takes his time to pull something from the salvage pile before looking over towards the doorway himself.]

Hey. The droid's there if you want to take a look.

[The Jedi nods towards the long worktable where he'd been working on the snowblowing robot on the floor beside it.]

[He goes over and starts examining the snowblower.]

Oh yeah, we can fix this up easy.

[He's pretty sure it'll be easy, anyway.]

Shouldn't be too difficult, at least once we get parts fitted for the attachments. But we'll still need someone to reprogram it.
