Donnie's blissfully oblivious to whatever responsibility shifts have occurred with their family. He may claim that he should be fifteen by now but his mindset's still closer to fourteen than the other way around, his experiences considerably lacking for all that Leo's suggested has happened between them.

And sometimes it's simpler just to dwell on the fact that when it comes to his family, he's no longer alone here. While he would have preferred the rest of his brothers be there to enjoy this place with them, it's not bad having at least one. Donnie grins.
