B: Peanut Party

This place... is absolutely nothing like Leo imagined being on a spaceship would be like. Even in most sci-fi movies, there aren't these massive green spaces and fake beaches (with purple sand??) and bars with glass that looks out at the swimming hole. Maybe a space station might be like that, but a spaceship?

Then again, maybe the greenhouse is a great idea for long term space travel. Maybe Jupiter Jim should have thought of that for some of his own journeys.

Leo spends a pretty long day just exploring the ship, in all the places he's allowed into. Catch him in the diner, examining the food past and beverage dispensers with some skepticism. Or on the artificial beach, dipping his toe in to test if the water is for real or some kind of hologram. Or in the training center, checking out the exercise devices (and hitting more than a few buttons at random).

Or finally he may be found loitering outside the cockpit. He hasn't committed to a data point just yet, so he's not allowed inside... but he really, really wants to see it. Maybe be a dear and let him in?

C: Agrii Ship

So there was some kind of big explosion, and now everyone is summoned back to the Agrii ship in a rush. At least no one is being sucked out into the vacuum of space, so it's not that bad.

Still pretty bad, though!

Leo actually isn't sure what he's supposed to do - he hasn't been here long enough to really understand the layout of the Agrii ship or the situation at hand, and trying to understand the Agrii themselves is pretty hopeless for him. Everyone is getting rushed to repair things, and Leo is left standing in the hanger, not sure which way he should be going.

For all his boasting of being the "coolest, fastest, strongest turtle," he sure does look like a lost fifteen-year-old right now.

Radley is pretty confused right now too, but when he sees a lost-looking kid, he has to stop.

It feels kind of like a low blow to finally have one of his brothers here only to have him on a different ship. Thankfully this is a problem relatively easy to be remedied, even if it is a pain having to literally shuttle to another ship. That they both have the same layout makes it easy to navigate at least.

Donnie comes across Leo at the beach, and if he can manage to get the ninja drop on him, he's just going to come up and shove his brother into the water while Leo's intent on investigating.

Leo startles at being addressed, and very quickly tried to make himself look like he isn’t as completely lost and useless as he feels. Yeah, he’s just… chillin’.

“Uh, hi?”

Leo is just absorbed enough in what he’s doing that he doesn’t hear Donnie’s ninja sneak. Donnie is reward with a rather undignified yelp as Leo goes tumbling into the water with a satisfying sploosh.

He spits out water on his way out, glaring up at the culprit, who turns out to be exactly who he expected.

“Seriously!?” he gripes, splashing at Donnie. “Geez, a guy thinks he’s safe on his own ship…”

Leo says this like he wouldn’t have done the exact same thing if their places had been reversed.

The reaction's enough to get a laugh out of Donnie, even if he is met with a splash of water to the face. Okay, he totally deserved that, but it's not keeping him from enjoying this.

"The sound you made just then," he snickers, wiping water away from his eyes like they're tears. He hasn't laughed like that in a while. It feels good. Maybe he should feel a little guilty for being glad his brother's stuck here with him but he's going to be selfish right now and take it for what it is.

"I'm just surprised you weren't already lounging in a pool float or something in there."

“I was working my way up to it!” He lays back in the water, so he can see the dome above - holds his hands up to indicate the ship as a whole.

“I wanted to see the whole thing first. I mean, this is totally wild; we’re in space!”

Maybe the newness has worn off for Donnie, but Leo’s still freaking out about it.

It's been difficult to be excited about the space thing when everything around you looked like a place you've otherwise been stuck in for the last year. Donnie would rather spend time in the Agrii ship or where he can actually see the starry expanse beyond.

"The condensed version of Temba does have its perks, I guess," he says as he settles down to stick his feet in the water. "Weird though, right? I'm still on the fence about it. We're finally on a spaceship and it just looks like we never left Agra Ten."

"Huh... Yeah, now that you mention it, I guess that's true."

The planet was still covered in snow for the short time Leo spent there, and he didn't have a lot of time to explore before being whisked off to the Agrii's ship. So the similarities aren't quite as apparent to him as they are to Donnie.

"Guess whoever built these was really worried about missing home."

Red eared sliders *are* cool, it's true. Most people here are humans, including me, but one of my friends here is a blue hedgehog, so more turtles here is great too.
