If you like it, you could get whatever you want on pizza. Personally, I only want thick-cut pepperoni, maybe mushrooms. I guess I kinda understand why people are against fruit on pizza, but they don't have to eat it. I don't know why it's controversial.

Back home I could count the number of not straight people I knew on one hand. And none of them were open about it.

Well, I think maybe it could just be a shift in societal values. I know that when I was young, nobody said anything because homosexuality was criminalized. But nobody really cares here.

It's decriminalized in my state, but it doesn't really mean much.

Still seems like they take a pretty large percent. They either really like or really hate us.

No, even after it was decriminalized, it still took a lot of work for people to feel comfortable, I think. But here, that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

But, I don't know. Maybe it's worth looking into.
