Instigating snow based hijinks:
Naturally, when one is surrounded by snow and is also a menace, there has to be at least one snowball fight. Especially with the uh, weird influx of children around. Kids are dumb, they love snowball fights! And like building snow forts and shit. Y'know, Snow Stuff!
Sonic's not gonna yeet snowballs at any unsuspecting children though, that would be rude. He Row runts and Agrii kids alike are invited nicely to engage in winter warfare because Sonic's nice that way, he'll be a pointy blue babysitter for a while.
Adults though, I'm sorry. Y'all are gettin' snowballed in the back of the skull by a bored hedgehog.
Except maybe Wesker. Sonic might think twice before pelting that one with snowballs.
Only twice though.
time for pent up homesickness
Admittedly Sonic's been doing more solo exploring than he has been actively engaging with the festivities. As such, he'd missed the initial gift giving, but it's fine. One fo the A.G.R.I.I. managed to track him down wherever he was outside and enforce GIFT upon him before heading off to find another giftless loser. It was kinda weird, of course Sonic was too curious not to open one of his gifts right there. 'Right there' being sitting on top of a cabin most likely, because he has no chill.
A photo of his friends from back home was probably the last thing he would have expected? Frankly, it catches him completely off guard. He sits in silence staring at it for kind of a long time, the initial surprise fading eventually and giving way to just being straight up bummed out. This might be the most miserable he's been or looked the whole time he's been here, even more so than when he got chewed up by that monster thing a few months back. Geez, has it already been that long? Really puts into perspective how long it's been since he's seen most of his buddies.
Or maybe he just feels miserable because his ass is freezing to this roof. Dude needs to learn to wear pants.
Agrii ship: he's just a little guy! Look at his widdle faaaace!
Of course Sonic was going to visit the Agrii ship, it would just be stupid not to try to learn as much as he could about their weird alien overlords. Unfortunately, apart from the map of the ship and being granted access to... maybe a lot more of the ship than he expected, he hasn't been able to learn much of anything. Mostly he'd been hoping to listen to them long enough to pick up their actual language, but no luck. He wasn't having an easier time understanding them pretty much at all. His progress on the language front has been pretty much completely halted, as was his progress on his secondary objective; Operation: Tell the Agrii to Stop Helping Because They're Just Making Everything Harder. They may just have to be abandoned all together, if only because Sonic can't seem to avoid the small groups of Agrii that keep cornering him to pet his little heaaaaaaad.
He doesn't want to hurt them, they're just big goobers, but he sure is going to try to wave down the first person he sees whether he knows them or not. How about an assist, bud? Do a hedgehog a favor??
