The hug was too much of a relief for Tony to be entirely distracted by the armor, though it made Jon unfamiliarly tall, and the helmet was cold resistance where he tried to press his cheek closer. It did let him squeeze more tightly around Jon's waist, with a pressure that might have been suffocating without the armor between them, like if he could hold on hard enough this wouldn't be what felt like the last time Jon would be this close to him for a while. Inside the armor, the indication of proximity and pressure were subtle, just a shift of temperature where Tony's arms were looped, not unlike the warmth spread along Jon's feet.
