"You're not going to listen to me regardless what I'm wearing." Jon points out with a stubborn set of his jaw. They both know this to be true. Just as they both know that Jon isn't Iron Man.

Jon steps forward to put his hands on Tony's arms, his expression stern and his voice direct. "Iron Man is a hero, yes. But you are Iron Man, Tony. Without you, Iron Man is just two words put together to form a name. You brought meaning to those words and the armor. You were the one that turned them into the hero that saved his world multiple times." His hands move along Tony's arms to take hold of the man's hands, finding himself displeased that the gauntlets limit his touch. "If you want to know what's pissing me off? It's that something or someone is making you doubt yourself this much. You have no reason to do that, Tony. You're doing everything for everyone here and expect nothing in return. Wether you believe it or not, you still are Iron Man."
