It surprised Tony that Cayde even thought he had to lay it out, that being entirely in control wasn't the logical, foregone conclusion to any micro- or macro-development and he was shocked to ask, "Don't you?" Cayde's question was only slightly less surprising, because he should have been the most capable of answering it. He had been squishy Cayde, and a few Cayde's in between, and didn't seem to be experiencing some existential fracture, so Tony looked like he was at a loss before returning, "Like in a Ship of Theseus way?"
