Donnie's gasp sounded much too loud in his own ears, probably only because of the way it seemed to echo within his mask, cutting through the silence. It was like he'd just remembered to breathe, just barely feeling Tony's hand around his. He turned his head back towards Tony before daring to scoot a little closer, trying to keep his teeth together to keep them from chattering as he listened for further movement from the bats.
