Steve nods. He's heard it before from a few different people but of course Gladio's words hold a bit more weight than the others. He seems like maybe he knows a bit what Steve is talking about.

"I just... I wish there was more I could do to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. Even if that meant I had to go back and forget about him and all this... At least I live. This here might be Eddie's only shot to keep going on..."

Steve sighs and pokes at the dice.
