Dustin's gaze flicks up to Link, eyebrows lifted slightly with surprise. He hadn't expected him to acquiesce so easily - but then again, while Link isn't nearly as paranoid as Dustin is, he does seem as stubbornly independent. Dustin can't imagine anyone successfully forcing Link to do anything. Unless they trick him into it, of course, or the powers are so beyond them that he can't hope to fight back. That's how they ended up here, after all.
A spike of anger swells in Dustin's chest, but he's too exhausted to do anything with it, letting it escape him instead as a melancholy sigh.
"I hate it here," he murmurs, apparently unprompted. "Being brainwashed into this shit for some aliens' entertainment. I-I don't know what to do. At least then, back home, I could do something about it, but--I can't stand it. I feel like I'm going insane."
