The kiss is soft but sweet. Something inside Steve relaxes and purrs at the affection. The smile from before is almost wobbly with the happiness inside him.

Steve reaches out to stroke a curl behind Eddie's ear as he pulls back.

"I think that might be the best compliment you could give me, Eddie," he says honestly. "Since I am pretty sure I can imagine what you thought I'd be like..."
