Dustin nods absently, his attention split between the phone now in one hand and his stew in the other. He turns the device over several times to glance at the buttons and ports - just a few seconds of scrutiny, and then his mental map of the phone is mostly complete. It helps that it doesn't look much different than the cellphones he's used to from home. Even the charging port uses a familiar adapter.
