Radley chuckles. "Well, when my friends and I first got to town, we wanted to take over the mine that had been discovered. So did a lot of other people. While we were trying to stake our claim, we found that there were no family-friendly eateries in town. We built one and it became pretty popular. Most people gave up on the mine, but we held out. So did one other guy and his workers."

He sobers now. "We fought for control of it and the town for a long time. We kept him from taking over, but we couldn't get him to leave. He was brutal and a lot of people suffered. That's finally over now, though.... He's in prison and we have the town."
