[The video comes on and Noctis isn't looking at the camera. But he's standing and a loud thud is heard as it sounds as if something heavy just dropped. So the king sighs with a shake of the head.]

Damn it. Anyone have any idea how to secure stuff on the walls? This one thing I keep thinking is secured keeps falling down.

[Right after he says that something else is heard, presumably falling down too.]

Yup, could definitely use some advice here.

Radley winces at the sounds. "There's no hooks or nails here?" He's assuming it's a picture, but then again, in this place, would there be frames? "What are you trying to secure anyway?"

Noctis had to shake his head. "The ones I used were in pretty bad shape. I reworked them as best I could but in the end they didn't hold up."

Another sigh came out. "I was just trying to find a place to put a shelf or two on, so I could have some more room. But it's not working out."

"Is there anyone here who could make them from scratch?" Radley wonders. There must be some kind of solution....

[Gladio chuckled as he watched the whole thing play out. He had been pretty sure that the triplicate frame wouldn't hang well on the wall. It's why he had offered to haul a whole table or stand or something over for this. But no, Noctis wanted it on the wall. So for now he remained lying on the bed, rolled on his side, head held up on a raised hand. And oh he grinned.]

Stop fighting it. Just relax. We'll figure something else.

"Well, at least there's that," Radley says. "Is he easy to reach?"

Dark blue eyes looked at the fallen shelf with a sigh. He folded his arms over his chest and continued to stare at the thing as it if personally offended him. There was a slight smile as he heard Gladio's voice pipe up.

"Guess I'm just not good at this playing house kinda stuff."

He shook his head. "Guy's more familiar with my roommate, but he's here at least."

Noctis was of course referring to Tony Stark.

"Good. Well, in the meantime, I hope you didn't already put things on the shelves."

The king laughed.

"No, hadn't gotten that far."

Thankfully.

[crystalmaster]

Radley smirks, then gives a genuine smile. "Well, I'll help if I can, but you'd probably have better luck with that other guy if his specialty is making things like that."

Well ya gotta knock tha nail inta tha wall!

"See, the secret is that we're not play at it, Noct. Though if you think I'm going to clean up after you to the degree Ignis did, you're crazy. I'll throw you in the lake or something."

But they're also not going to eat here as much. Not like Gladio and Noctis can cook.

The king put his hands on his hips as he stared at his failed project and sighed. "No. I wouldn't let Iggy do half of what he did for me if he were here." Death had a funny way of making him rethink his life and his priorities.

"I could never repay any of you guys for everything you did."

Ya I uh..did that. It folded in on itself.

Noctis wasn't happy to report that.

Noctis nodded. "Thanks, I appreciate the offer. But ya..I might have to go and get some professional help..or what counts for that here."

Because he sure wasn't going to ask for anyone's help.

"Yeah, ordinarily I could probably help, but when we're dealing with such a lack of resources it's harder," Radley sighs.

"He'd probably still try if he was here," he says, smiling at Noctis and beckoning the other closer with a crooked finger. "I can ask Tony for nails or something. And you know you never had to pay us back."

Dimensions? Materials of the shelves and the walls? What are you planning to store on them?
All of those factors will determine how best to secure them.
