Home is where the heart is.
WHO: Viktor, York Stark
WHERE: York's factory
WHAT: Viktor starts moving into a factory York has already claimed
WHEN: mid-June
WARNINGS: York's potty mouth, Nothing else anticipated
Viktor had already made the decision to move out of the Hotel when he found that it had so many stairs and that was going to be hard on his crutch. Even after he was now going without using his crutch he still wasn't comfortable with the idea of sharing space with so many other people. So he had picked up his single ratty blanket, added the foam eggcrate mattress toppers he found at the alien Target to it, and was looking at a particular factory's office space to see about using it as a converted sleeping space. The office space would be best for that purpose because it wasn't connected to an outside wall, so there was a bit of a buffer against the weather. There was some evidence that there had been a fire here, though, so Viktor would have to keep that in mind if it got cold and he needed to use a space heater.

Going home empty handed left him emulating grumpiness (emulated from his dad of all people), but he headed into his home. Maybe formulate some sort of plan or... something.
Instead he gets a few feet away from the office door that was his 'room' when he hears someone in it. It didn't have the same sound as Peter. Who was it? The android scowls and steps into the door way to see--
"You. What the fuck are you doing in my factory?" he barks, glaring at the human.

"Yours? I was under the impression no one actually owned anything in this city."
There were a very few places that were inhabited long-term like the civics center, the library, or the clock tower but they were usually different.
"And it seems a little silly for you to take so much living space when you don't actually need it."
He wasn't being condescended, Viktor didn't actually see why York would need so much living space when he didn't need to actually eat and didn't seem to need to sleep as often as a human.

"Right, I'm just an android, I don't need anything." He marches into the room to the clean corner and snatches up his first aid kit. His only item that had given any clue that someone was living here. At least Viktor hadn't noticed and rummaged through it. He hugged it tight to his chest before wheeling on heel to look at Viktor. "All the fucking spaces in this town and you choose here?"
no subject
"Because I had seen no evidence of someone - an organic meat sack anyway - living here. I also fail to see what living in isolation has to do with living in peace. I planned on possibly making a workshop as well, and there is more than enough room for both."
Annoyed now, Viktor raised his brows at York.
"Are you planning on hurting me enough that I leave, like a violent human?"
no subject
But with all of his attitude, York didn't want to actually hurt someone. It would draw too much attention like that guy, what was his name? Heck? Deck? Beck. Tried to take out Tony. "Isolation is peace enough for me. Deviants did it where I'm from before Cyberlife destroyed our home."
"This," he gestures around at the rough state of the room, "reminds me enough of my own home that I'm fucking comfortable." A reminder of the home he had lost. The scowl falls from Viktor and he kicks at some of the wreckage that was the light he had tried to fix and caused a fire instead.
