I have since found out that this city has several mages living within it. While I don't have a particular need for one, I find what they do fascinating and would love to speak to one.

I never heard of magic until I came here, but I was told it could cover a lot of things. Is there some sort of specific magic you mean?

Well, they do seem to do very different things. But I've only seen a few examples and the one who tried explaining what magic was isn't here anymore. Oh, but Lark uses her magic for fixing clothes. It's amazing!

As for the Agrii's language... No one of us speaks it. And the Agrii communicate with us in a way that lets us understand what they're saying. Just as we all here understand one another. I would be very surprised if English were the common language across the multiverse.

Yes, I had thought of varying languages represented as well. I must say I do not know how to learn a non-written language from syntax to simple grammar.
