Heard it's your birthday
WHO: Gladio ziedrich_bearer & Noctis fatedsacrifice

WHAT: Friendly neighbourhood spar
WHEN: Backdated to April 2, Gladio's birthday

The only thing Noctis could come up with was a cake, all chocolate. But he held off on picking that up at the local diner and woke up with a start. Somehow the day felt different and he had to figure out why that was. So he decided to take a look at a calendar.
And it dawned on him. Right, he had to pick the cake up because today was Gladio's birthday. But other than a cake he was pretty blank on what to get the shield. Back home (provided he was still alive which he decidedly wasn't) they could've gone shopping or something. Noctis also had a 'to go' dinner planned out to pick up as well, but that was just dinner and dessert.
He had no idea what to try and get the shield and was stumped for ideas without outwardly asking. So the king decided that asking in a different way might work. After locating Gladio, he managed a smirk at him.
"You ready to get your ass kicked today?"
