"Yeah..." Peter agrees softly, mind replaying that moment in his head. and if you died, I'd feel like that's on me. He didn't think about it then, but now he wonders if the real reason Tony had taken his suit that day wasn't because Peter had make a bad choice but because he'd seen how ready to jump into a dangerous situation Peter had been. He'd tried to hold the ferry together all by himself, the massive pieces pulling him in opposite directions as they tried to pull further apart.

He probably could have died if Tony hadn't shown up then. He pushes the thought away though and focuses on Jon.
