Without his powers, there's not really a whole lot Peter can do to fight back. And if what she's saying is true he wouldn't be able to fight back if something attacked him. Part of him wants to assure her that it's fine because he doesn't feel like it's dangerous but he knows the only reason it doesn't is because his spider-sense is currently on vacation courtesy of the energy storm.

"But what if it is?" He can't help but wonder because sure, there's a chance it's a trap but isn't there at least a small chance that it isn't? He wants to push passed her but there's no way he'd have the strength for that now. "What if this is my only chance to talk to him again?"
