They are already practically immortal, and with weapons they only further abuse their power and take advantage of the defenseless." There was enough of an edge in his tone to underline his disapproval of how things had turned out. Unfortunately when the Traveler had sent out its Ghosts, there hadn't been any set rules in how to use the power and second chances gifted to those who became the Risen.

"There was no radiation." Admittedly it wasn't something he'd given thought to when they'd done their searching. "And if there was, then there wouldn't be much left to threaten."
