The whiplash from Echo's approval making Tony brighten considerably, to Jon's judgmental and distinctly unenthusiastic expression making his shoulders and smile immediately drop, left Tony looking drained and apologetically inquisitive at Jon's retreating back, without the energy left to argue his case. It wasn't the worst idea he ever had. It might have been a waste of time. Slowly, in his own defeat, not sure what he had done this time to have this visit fall apart so quickly, he looked back to Echo and produced a faint smirk. "Look what you did," he accused.
