One Morning Outside the Jedi Temple...

At first, from a distance, the object might look like a bundle of flowers. They're bright, friendly, colorful like flowers, but the shape's wrong, and there's no leaves. No, as someone approaches, they find about eight or nine objects that seem to be toy lightsabers, in varied colors. The usual red and green and blue are there, but there's also a hideous puke yellow, and one in a magenta shade. They light up, and when waved through the air while lit, they make the traditional "zhoooom-zhoom" sounds, a tinny metallic recording of the actual sound lightsabers make.

There is a note attached to the bundle--

That morning Obi-Wan is doing his usual early routine when the strange color object(s) catch his eye. He’s pretty sure whatever it is wasn’t there before, thus he decides to investigate.

Imagine the Jedi’s surprise and bewilderment as he comes to find several plastic toy lightsabers. “What in star’s name,” he mutters to himself as he bends down to pick up a green lightsaber and turn it on. The familiar, though clearly low quality, sound that comes from it causes him to blink as it lights up.

He waves it around a bit, the zooming sound a bit delayed but there. Curiously he taps the “blade” on his hand too. It’s clearly a flimsy toy, but what are they doing here? That’s when he spots the note. Turning off the toy before picking it up and reading the strange wording that could only come from the Agrii.

The Jedi looking around as if the mysterious gift giving alien might show itself or perhaps is watching somewhere. “Um… thank you?”

The magenta one, notably, leaks silver glitter when it is swung.

During the course of his investigation he scrutinizes this magenta saber. Noting its bright color when he turns it on, which is hardly accurate!

Obi-Wan is not a cursing man, but he comes awfully close when a movement causes silver glitter to get all over his robes.

Eight objects. Definitely eight objects. Because there's Tommy, stretching his legs during recovery, running past just moments after the box arrives and there is no way the ninth one isn't going away with him.

He considers the toys, ignoring the note, and swings around a green and a blue one in turn. Then grabs a red one, laughs, and races off.

Fuck. Yes.

Hope people are ready to be poked.

At some point down the line, the sound effect changes to that of a squeaky hammer or rubber duck, when someone is poked with the lightsaber.

Luke turns up when he becomes aware of Obi-Wan's distaste of the glitter going everywhere. He also promptly turns into a five year old, picking up a lightsaber and turning it on.

Okay, so 'playing' is more showing off than playing, but he's having fun and quite prepared to duel or 'duel' anyone who is interested.

And at that point there will be a message left in the Soup Lies box with a drawing of a green stick figure holding a red stick and a 'quack' over its head as it pokes the red stick at a blue stick figure (his brother of course).
