WHO: Simba and You!
WHERE: Around Temba and eventually the mine.
WHAT: This lion was told not to go into the mine, but he's going anyway! So there!
WHEN: After Cobb's network post about the mine.
WARNINGS: None atm

After Simba's little blow up with Cobb on the network, the lion cub has left his device behind and stalked through the city. The little big cat looking positively pissed off as he sets his butt down by the fountain and pouts. Angrily staring down at his own paws with his ears flattened.

It wasn't fair! Everyone else could go down there but he couldn't? He'll show that stupid human. He's going to find that mine and go down anyway. That'll show him! He'll prove that he can do it!

Problem is he doesn't know where it is. So he will either have to find it himself or someone who does.

A - Searching for the hole in the ground.

Determined to find where this mine was, Simba starts exploring around the city again. He must have missed it in his other explorations, so he's gotta look places he hasn't been before. Which is why he does, just meandering around various parts of Temba, looking around.

He can be seen scampering across ruined streets, through the grass, just about anywhere. Looking for what he's told is a big hole in the ground. Because you can't miss that right?

B - Asking Around

When that doesn't work, Simba decides that maybe he can find someone who will tell him where it is. This leads him back into the city center where more of the humans seem to be most of the time. His trek taking him into some of the more lively places, like the bar or the dinner. Anywhere that he can find a person!

Once he spots you, a lion cub will come walking straight up. Or jump on something to get at a better level where he can talk to you.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

C - At the mine

One way or another, Simba manages to find his way there. The cub coming up to the mine entrance and looking up at it with wide eyes. It's definitely a hole in the ground! Or actually more like a big cave. He's been in caves before, he lived in one!

"This doesn't look scary," he mutters to himself. That stupid human was just obviously being mean and not wanting him to go in for whatever reason. Maybe some silly humans only club. Well he doesn't care what that guy says! He's not the boss of him!

Thus Simba marches right into the cave, taking the time to look around as he ventures in. "Whoa, cool," he says as he notices the strange bug goo. This wasn't bad at all! With his confidence rising higher with each step, he bounded further into the mine, looking to see what he could find.

Why is Grogu there? Who knows. He's a curious sort and likes to explore... Especially when he's not supposed to.

He spots the yellow creature that stole his ball nearby. Making a soft noise, he waves.

It doesn't matter why he's there, Simba's just glad to see another kid. Because adults suck you know. At least most of them. So when the lion cub spots Grogu waving, he immediately trots over to him.

"Hey, green guy!"

Simba has no idea what your name is Grogu, sorry.

"Wanna go exploring with me?"

That guy said not to go alone, and while he had every intention to, if he gets in trouble he can at least say he didn't go alone. Right? Right.

Eh, his dad called him 'kid' until he learned his name. He's used to it.

Exploring? With a new friend? That sounds exciting. Grogu smiles and nods. Yes! Of course he wants to explore!

“All right, come on!”

He then races off into the cave, not realizing that Grogu can’t… move as fast as him. It takes a moment for that to sink in once he realizes his new friend isn’t following.

He eventually comes back, a bit puzzled on what to do. Since, well, it’ll take them forever to explore if he has to keep waiting on Grogu. Hmmm.

An idea then strikes!

“Hey, maybe I can carry you.” He then motions his head towards his back as he gets down. “C’mon, I’ll give you a ride!”

Oh he's fast. Grogu follows as quickly as his little legs will carry him. This is going to take a while.

Then Simba comes back and offers him a ride. His eyes widen and he nods. That sounds like a great idea! Smiling, he climbs up on his back, pressing his palms to Simba's shoulders for balance. He's ready when you are!

Once Grogu climbs onto his back, Simba pushes himself onto his paws again.

“Okay, hold on, here we go!”

The lion cub then runs into the mine as fast as his legs will carry him.

“WHOOOOOOOO!” Simba shouting as they get further in, his voice echoing off the rock walls as he runs, followed by excited laughter.

That grumpy old man can suck it because this is a BLAST!

Grogu's fingers grab hold of the fur on Simba's shoulders to help him stay on. Sorry, kid, but it's not like he has anything else to cling to! He lets out a shocked and excited cry as they race into the mines. Is this a good idea? Maybe not. But it's fun!

Simba doesn’t seem to care about the pinch on his shoulders. He’s having too much fun racing through the tunnels, whooping and shouting as his voice echoes through them.

They seem to be endless and he runs through the looos tirelessly as Grogu rides on his back.

That is until something changes. A wall up ahead, though not quite. Still the cub skids to a stop, panting as he looks at the narrow crawlspace before them.

“Whoa… what do you think is in there?”

Unlike the big humans, Simba and Grogu could easily fit through there!

This is great! Almost as great as Din carrying him as he flew. He's so caught up in the moment that he's not ready for Simba to stop so suddenly...

He tumbles forward over his friend's head and onto the ground. Shaking his own head, he pushes up to his feet with a slightly dismayed sound. Sorry, Simba. What was your question?

Well that was surprising! Simba is just as startled as Grogu when he goes tumbling over his head. The cub shaking said head before walking over to his friend.

"Hey, you okay?" The cub looking over his green friend to make sure he wasn't hurt.

He then points a paw to the narrow space under the rock wall. "Look, we should be able to get through there no problem. Wanna see what's in there?"
